About The Position
Wellhart is seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a locum tenens position at a healthcare facility in Pennsylvania. This 60-day assignment begins on 11/01/2025 and requires a physician specializing in Radiation Oncology to provide coverage 5 days a week plus on-call duties. The work schedule includes outpatient office hours Monday through Friday, with varying shift options. The position involves managing a diverse caseload, including breast, lung, and prostate cancers, as well as a mix of other organ sites. The physician will be responsible for various radiation therapy techniques, patient consultations, follow-ups, and daily image reviews. This role requires experience with Trauma and proficiency in multiple radiation therapy modalities.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5 days/week + call (every other week)
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide outpatient care in radiation oncology
• Manage cases including breast, lung, prostate, and other organ sites
• Perform 2D & 3D radiation therapy, IMRT, IGRT, DIBH, SBRT, and SRS
• Conduct brachytherapy for cylinders
• See 2 new consults, 1 re-evaluation, and 2 follow-up patients daily
• Review all on-treatment patients on Tuesdays
• Oversee 2-3 simulations daily, Monday to Friday
• Conduct daily review of images
• Provide on-call coverage every other week
• Work in a multi-specialty clinic environment
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed in Pennsylvania
• Experience with Aria RO Epic/IP Powerchart preferred
• Comfortable with Trauma cases
• Possibility of assignment extension
