About The Position

We are seeking a Cardiologist for a 180-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting on Oct 6, 2025. This opportunity involves day shifts typically lasting 8-10 hours, with on-call duties overnight when scheduled. The cardiologist will be responsible for hospital rounds, test readings, and consultations, providing comprehensive cardiac care.

  • Schedule: 8-10 hours during the day, on-call overnight from 5pm-8am


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct hospital rounds and read various diagnostic tests on 5 different systems.
  • Provide coverage for hospital duties including diagnostic testing, consultations, and call responsibilities.
  • Hospital consultations from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with diagnostic readings as needed.
  • Manage clinic patient appointments from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM when scheduled.


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Cardiology required.
  • Must be licensed in Pennsylvania with an active DEA certificate.
  • ACLS certification necessary.
  • Proficient with EMR systems, including Cerner and Epic.
