About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania starting Sep 1, 2025. This position offers a dynamic work environment where the Physician will manage a range of cases including cold/flu symptoms, minor burns, and orthopedic procedures. The assignment is scheduled for shifts from Monday to Sunday, 8 AM to 8 PM, until Dec 31, 2025.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Diagnose and treat patients with various minor acute conditions such as colds, flu, rashes, and lacerations.
- Perform minor urgent care procedures including splinting, wound care, and management of sprains and minor burns.
- Refer high-acuity cases to the appropriate emergency facilities as needed.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care within the scope of urgent care practice.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Family Practice required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant specialty.
- Must be comfortable treating patients of all ages.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS.
- Active Pennsylvania state medical license required.
- DEA certification necessary.
- Familiarity with the Epic EMR system.
