Lead Superintendent – K-12, Stadiums & University Projects

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Superintendent to join a reputable General Contractor specializing in K-12, higher education, and stadium projects across the Houston area. The role will focus primarily on renovations, with the opportunity to lead ground-up projects as well.
*Candidates with solely multi family/ residential experience will not be considered*
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all on-site construction activities from pre-construction through project completion. Coordinate, schedule, and supervise field staff, subcontractors, and trades to ensure smooth project execution. Oversee site logistics, materials, and equipment management. Monitor daily progress, track project milestones, and provide detailed reporting to the Project Manager and executive team. Enforce safety regulations and ensure full compliance with OSHA and company standards. Conduct regular site inspections, quality control checks, and resolve any construction-related issues quickly and effectively. Work closely with architects, engineers, owners, and consultants to maintain project goals and resolve design or field conflicts. Manage project budgets and schedules on-site, ensuring deadlines are consistently met. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and professional project environment. Mentor and develop assistant superintendents and field staff.
Requirements: Minimum 10 years of experience as a Superintendent on K-12, stadium, or university projects. Strong background in renovations with experience also in ground-up construction. Proven track record of delivering large, complex education or public projects. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Residential or multi-family experience will not be considered.
