Our focus is on acquiring, managing, and optimizing multifamily assets across the Sunbelt states, with a current portfolio of 16 multifamily communities. Mission: The Director of Asset Management will oversee the performance of our 16 multifamily assets across the Sunbelt states. This role is responsible for driving portfolio strategy, financial performance, and operational execution. The Director will partner closely with ownership and property management teams to implement business plans, optimize NOI, and deliver long-term value. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with strong financial acumen, market insight, and leadership skills. Success in this role means consistently achieving occupancy and revenue goals, ensuring capital projects are delivered on time and within budget, and maximizing investor returns while enhancing resident satisfaction.

Requirements: Key Performance Indicators (KPI's): Net Operating Income (NOI) Growth:

Achieve or exceed annual NOI targets across the portfolio. Occupancy & Leasing Performance:

Maintain portfolio-wide occupancy above 94%. Capital Projects Execution:

Deliver projects on time and within budget with measurable ROI. Expense Management:

Keep controllable operating expenses within 2% of approved budgets. Investor Reporting Timeliness:

Deliver 100% of reporting packages accurately and on schedule.

Objectives: Maximize Portfolio Performance

– Drive consistent NOI growth and maintain strong occupancy across all multifamily assets. Execute Asset-Level Business Plans

– Implement strategies that optimize operations, enhance resident satisfaction, and improve long-term property value. Deliver Capital Projects Effectively

– Oversee renovations and capital improvements that are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with investment goals. Provide Strategic Insights to Ownership

– Deliver accurate, timely reporting and data-driven recommendations that support sound investment decisions.

Responsibilities: Develop and execute business plans for each asset to maximize NOI and long-term value. Monitor and analyze property-level financial and operational performance, implementing corrective actions where needed. Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across the portfolio. Partner with third-party property management teams to drive leasing, expense management, and capital improvement projects. Evaluate market trends and competitive positioning to inform strategy and asset decisions. Oversee capital expenditure projects and ensure alignment with ownership’s investment objectives. Present regular asset performance updates and recommendations to ownership.

Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field. Minimum 7–10 years of experience in multifamily asset management. Proven track record managing a portfolio of multifamily properties. Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and property operations.

Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA or MS in Real Estate). Experience with Sunbelt markets. Professional certifications (CCIM, CPM, or similar). Proficiency in Yardi, RealPage, or other CRE asset management platforms.

Benefits & Compensation Base Salary:
