Job Summary The Plant Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all manufacturing, plant engineering, customer service, and materials management functions at the Tulsa facility. This role ensures alignment with corporate goals and objectives, driving operational excellence, safety, customer satisfaction, and profitability in accordance with company policies and procedures. Supervisory Responsibilities Provides leadership to plan, schedule, organize, and staff manufacturing and support functions. Ensures all plant functions are properly staffed and coordinated, and that team members are trained, qualified, and performing at a high level. Key Duties and Responsibilities Develop, submit, and execute objectives, strategies, and business plans. Lead business planning activities including operating budgets, capital budgets, and sales budgets. Manage plant profit and loss performance. Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives to achieve highest quality, lowest cost, and on-time delivery. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards to provide a safe workplace and promote environmental stewardship. Monitor and manage standard margins, variances, and cost controls across manufacturing operations. Establish and communicate manufacturing strategies and objectives to employees. Develop and implement capital projects to support near- and long-term growth. Champion continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and asset management. Lead employee relations programs to maintain a positive, non-union environment. Maintain open, effective communication with employees, corporate leadership, and cross-functional partners. Manage performance appraisal programs to ensure consistent evaluation of employee performance. Collaborate with Product Engineering on product design, performance, start-up, and testing. Develop manufacturing controls to meet production schedules and sales requirements without unnecessary inventory costs. Coordinate customer requirements with sales, marketing, and materials management teams. Monitor plant capacity and proactively address operating constraints. Conduct regular production status meetings, developing action plans to address variances. Plan and develop manufacturing facilities and equipment to improve efficiency. Represent the company positively within the community. Perform all other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage, motivate, and develop teams. Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong financial acumen, including P&L management and budget development. Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and corporate leadership. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required; MBA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in plant operations, including at least 3 years in a Plant Manager role of similar scope.
