Position Summary The
EHS Training Specialist
plays a key role in building and sustaining our strong safety culture. You’ll deliver
engaging and compliant safety orientation sessions
for all new employees and contractors, ensuring they are prepared to work safely in both manufacturing and construction environments. Beyond orientation, you’ll facilitate
Authorized and Qualified Person training , ensuring employees meet OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, and EAS qualification standards. You’ll also manage training records in our digital safety management system, track certifications, and partner across teams to continuously improve our safety programs.
What You’ll Do Safety Orientation & Training Deliver in-person and virtual safety orientations covering OSHA topics, hazard communication, tool safety, and emergency response. Facilitate Authorized & Qualified Person training (e.g., fall protection, electrical safety, scaffolding, confined space). Partner with Learning & Talent Development to ensure engaging, impactful training experiences. Training Management & Compliance Maintain all training records in digital safety software. Track qualifications, recertifications, and generate compliance reports. Monitor OSHA, NFPA, and ANSI regulation changes and update training accordingly. Continuous Improvement Gather feedback to enhance training effectiveness. Develop new safety modules as operational needs evolve. Support a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence. Qualifications 3+ years of experience
in safety training, safety management, or related fields within manufacturing or construction. Associate or Bachelor’s degree
in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred (extensive experience may substitute). Professional certifications
(CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST) preferred. Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910/1926, NFPA/NFPA 70E, and ANSI standards. Proven experience delivering safety training in areas such as fall protection, electrical safety, LOTO, confined space, or rigging. Excellent communication, public speaking, and cultural adaptability (multi-language training with translation software).
Work Environment & Travel Combination of
office, manufacturing, and construction site
