Position Summary LHH is partnering with a pharmaceutical manufacturer specializing in liquid dosage forms to hire a Distribution Center Manager. This role is responsible for leading all warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant handling, storage, and shipment of regulated pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on leadership approach, deep knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and DEA requirements, and a passion for process optimization. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations including receiving, warehousing, inventory control, order fulfillment, and outbound shipping Ensure full compliance with cGMP, FDA, DEA, and internal quality standards Lead, mentor, and manage warehouse personnel—handle scheduling, performance reviews, and training Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, inventory accuracy, on-time shipping, and labor efficiency Optimize warehouse layout, racking, and material handling to ensure operational flow and safety Implement best practices for FIFO, lot tracking, and inventory accuracy using ERP/WMS systems Coordinate with QA/Regulatory on handling of quarantined, rejected, or returned inventory Drive continuous improvement projects aimed at cost reduction, accuracy, and service level improvement Manage inbound goods from manufacturing and outbound shipments to customers, distributors, and internal sites Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Transportation, and IT to improve end-to-end logistics Maintain a safe, clean, and audit-ready warehouse per OSHA, FDA, and company standards Lead or support regulatory and customer audits as required Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field—or equivalent work experience 5–7+ years of warehouse/distribution management experience in pharmaceuticals, food, or other regulated industries Strong understanding of cGMP, FDA, DEA, and controlled substance regulations Proven leadership experience in high-volume, fast-paced distribution environments Proficient in ERP and WMS systems (e.g., AS400, SAP) Forklift and warehouse equipment certifications preferred Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and enforce compliance consistently Preferred Traits Hands-on, accountable leadership style Experience managing temperature-controlled storage or hazardous materials Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma warehousing principles Commitment to building a culture of safety, compliance, and performance Compensation Base Salary: $100,000-$120,000 annually Bonus: Annual discretionary bonus based on company and/or individual performance Benefits Medical insurance (PPO plan) Dental and vision coverage 401(k) retirement plan with 3% employer match Personal Time Off (PTO): 120 hours annually Paid Sick Leave where applicable by state law Additional benefits may include life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability, employee assistance programs (EAPs), commuter benefits, and wellness initiatives
