Sanitation Associate

We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Associate responsible for maintaining cleanliness in various areas including hallways, breakrooms, offices, and production labs. The role involves mopping, running floor scrubbers, and operating drain cleaning equipment. Responsibilities: Clean hallways, breakrooms, offices, and R&D production lab floors. Wipe walls and doors. Mop and run floor scrubbers. Operate drain cleaning equipment such as foamers. Ensure cleanliness around the production floor, locker rooms, and bathrooms. Essential Skills: Experience in cleaning, janitorial, or sanitation roles. Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) in a food manufacturing environment. Knowledge of food safety and production protocols. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Previous sanitation experience in a food plant is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with production/manufacturing safety protocols. Why Work Here? Work Environment: The work environment is a clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled food manufacturing facility. Team members must adhere to health and safety guidelines, wearing appropriate attire including hairnets, beard nets, steel-toed shoes, and lab coats. The facility can become dusty and reach temperatures up to 100 degrees due to machinery and ovens. The shift hours are 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM (Monday to Friday, and occasionally Saturdays) or 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM. You will train on the first shift for two weeks and work mostly independently with one other sanitation associate, among a team of over 30 employees. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.50/hr.
