Construction Superintendent Job at Trillium Staffing in Lexington

Trillium Construction is hiring for MEP Superintendents in Lexington, KY to oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on large-scale construction projects in the area.

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage field operations, coordinate subcontractors, ensure quality and safety standards, and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

Duties:
-Oversee day-to-day field operations for MEP scopes of work, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
-Lead coordination efforts between MEP subcontractors, general contractors, and project teams to resolve conflicts and maintain schedule integrity.
-Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements, building codes, and healthcare regulations.
-Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality, safety, and progress, addressing issues proactively.
-Manage MEP schedules, track progress, and report on milestones and potential delays.
-Ensure all safety protocols and standards are strictly enforced, maintaining a culture of zero incidents.
-Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide technical expertise and field leadership.
-Lead commissioning and turnover of MEP systems, ensuring operational readiness and compliance.
-Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, inspection records, and punch lists.

Compensation:
-Annual hourly rate between $50 - $58/hr
-M/V/D benefits

Qualifications:
-Minimum of 5+ years of field leadership experience in MEP construction.
-Prior experience supervising projects within healthcare facilities strongly preferred.
-Strong knowledge of hospital and healthcare-specific building codes, standards, and compliance requirements.
-Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schedules, and specifications.
-Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-OSHA 30 certification, OSHA 500 preferred
-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
