Job Title: Project Manager – Engineering & Construction (Small Cell/Network Deployment)
Location: Bloomington Office – Hybrid Schedule (In office Tue–Thu, Remote Mon/Fri)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to support our Small Cell, In-Building, Temporary Deployment, and Site Improvement Projects. In this role, you will collaborate with Project Managers, Equipment Engineers, and Construction Engineers, as well as cross-functional teams including RF Design, Real Estate, Transport, Operations, and System Performance, to ensure the successful implementation of new technologies and network enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, organize, and maintain capital project documentation.
- Assist in procurement activities including purchase orders, vendor engagement, and delivery tracking.
- Prepare and format project status reports, documentation, and presentations.
- Support data entry and database management within capital project management systems.
- Monitor financial and network KPI reports, following up to drive timely issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Basic knowledge of telecommunications industry terminology (e.g., RF, fiber, DAS, tower, civil).
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of cellular network architecture.
- Familiarity with Ericsson base station equipment.
- Understanding of backup power systems in telecom environments.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction terminology.
