Project Manager - Complex Cross-Functional Projects (2 Roles)


HYBRID- 3 days in office


Position Overview

We are seeking two experienced Project Managers to lead and coordinate complex, cross-functional projects with multiple dependencies. The successful candidates will be responsible for driving project delivery from initiation through completion while managing stakeholder expectations, mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment across diverse teams and departments.


Project Planning & Execution

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies

• Create and maintain detailed project schedules with critical path analysis and dependency mapping

• Coordinate activities across multiple functional teams

• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget


Stakeholder Management

• Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams and external stakeholders

• Conduct regular status meetings and provide executive-level reporting

• Manage competing priorities and resolve conflicts between departments

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all organizational levels

• Present project updates to senior leadership


Risk & Dependency Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies

• Develop contingency plans for critical project components


Team Leadership

• Lead project teams without direct authority, using influence and collaboration

• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and decision-making sessions

• Mentor team members

• Foster a collaborative environment across diverse teams and cultures

Required Qualifications

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred

• Agile/Scrum certifications highly desirable


Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of business process modeling and workflow optimization tools

• Experience with change management methodologies

• Strong analytical and data visualization skills


Experience

• Minimum 11 years of project management experience

• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and stakeholder management

• Background in managing projects with significant external dependencies

• Strong experience in business process analysis and optimization

• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies


Technical Skills

• Expert proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira)

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for reporting and presentations

• Knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)

• Familiarity with financial modeling and budget management

Work hours of Requested Position: 8:30 am-5:30 pm

We are seeking a Data Management Project Manager to lead critical initiatives focused on process optimization and system modernization within our data management operations.

Key Project Responsibilities

Area of Focus: Process Improvement Initiative

Objective: Streamline and optimize the project closeout intake process

Scope: Design and implement a unified tool for Data Management team operations

Expected Outcomes:

Area of Focus: System Retirement & Migration

Objective: Sunset legacy land ID generation system

Scope: Migrate operations to the Land Services Database platform

• Improved Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for business stakeholders

• Enhanced system reliability and performance

• Reduced maintenance overhead from legacy systems

• Better integration with existing business processes


Core Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for both process improvement and system migration initiatives

• Coordinate with Data Management teams, IT, and business stakeholders

• Manage system retirement timeline and risk mitigation strategies

• Ensure seamless transition with minimal business disruption

• Develop and monitor SLA improvements and performance metrics

• Facilitate change management and user adoption activities

• Complete migration from legacy land ID system to Land Services Database

Role 2 – Natural Gas Business Unit & Survey Project Manager Role Summary

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the transformation of NGBU (Natural Gas Business Unit) and Survey operations. This role will focus on identifying and prioritizing opportunities that enhance operational efficiency, optimize technology utilization, and ensure compliance with business and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will drive strategic initiatives to streamline operations, reduce redundancies, and develop comprehensive roadmaps for sustainable operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Opportunity Identification and Prioritization Analysis

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of current NGBU processes and operations

• Identify root causes of operational pain points and inefficiencies

• Evaluate and prioritize opportunities for operational improvement based on impact and feasibility

• Develop business cases for recommended optimization initiatives

• Assess technology utilization and identify areas for enhancement

• Lead cross-functional teams to identify process pain points and operational inefficiencies

• Document findings and develop actionable solutions through structured stakeholder engagement

• Ensure all relevant business units are represented and engaged in the transformation process


NGBU Optimization Roadmap Development

• Create a comprehensive 3-year strategic roadmap for NGBU operations optimization

• Define detailed implementation plans, timelines, and resource requirements

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics

• Ensure roadmap alignment with overall business goals and objectives

• Develop milestone tracking and progress monitoring frameworks


Operational Excellence Initiatives

Identify Inefficiencies: Conduct root cause analysis of operational pain points to develop targeted and optimal solutions


Streamline Operations: Simplify processes and technology implementations to improve efficiency and effectiveness


Optimize Resources: Eliminate redundancies and ensure optimal resource utilization across all NGBU & Survey functions
