About the Role A leading residential developer is seeking a
Land Development Manager
to oversee the planning and delivery of new single-family communities across Central Arkansas. This position will manage projects from raw land through finished lots, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget targets are met. The Land Development Manager will report directly to senior leadership and work closely with cross-functional teams, consultants, and contractors. Key Responsibilities Oversee due diligence, site inspections, and construction activities for land development projects. Manage entitlements, permitting, and approvals with city, county, and state agencies. Coordinate engineering, design, and utility planning with consultants. Build and maintain relationships with trade partners, contractors, and municipalities. Develop and track project budgets, schedules, and cost-to-complete reports. Provide regular updates to leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities. Monitor billing, budgets, and change orders in collaboration with the finance team.
Qualifications 3+ years of land development, construction management, or related field experience. Strong understanding of site design, grading, utilities, and civil construction practices. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Subdivision development experience highly desirable.
