to support its legal and project delivery teams. This role involves in-depth contract evaluation, risk assessment, and collaboration with technical staff to ensure agreements are both legally sound and operationally practical. We're seeking someone who thrives in a technical, compliance-driven environment-ideally with experience in industries like engineering, construction, utilities, or public infrastructure. The right candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of translating complex contract language into actionable insights. This is a strategic position-not a document processing role. You'll be expected to engage critically with contract terms, flag potential issues, and propose meaningful revisions.

If your skills, experience, and qualifications match those in this job overview, do not delay your application.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze contracts and related documents for legal risk, clarity, and alignment with internal standards and applicable regulations Draft and revise contract language, offering clear and constructive feedback Work closely with engineers and project leads to understand project requirements and reflect them accurately in agreements Participate in negotiations with external partners, clients, and subcontractors Contribute to the development and refinement of internal templates and specifications Prepare legal documents such as NDAs, teaming agreements, and amendments Conduct research on relevant laws and regulations (e.g., labor codes, licensing rules, procurement laws) Help maintain compliance with licensing and registration requirements across multiple jurisdictions Assist in drafting technical specifications and engineering-related contract language

Ideal Background:

Minimum 3 years of experience in contract review and negotiation, preferably in technical or regulated sectors Familiarity with contracts related to construction, engineering, or professional services Strong ability to identify problematic terms and suggest improvements Experience working with technical teams and bridging legal and operational language Excellent writing and editing skills, with a professional and consistent tone Ability to interpret and apply relevant laws and codes Solid research and documentation skills; experience with legal research platforms is a plus
