Senior Commercial Counsel Position Overview:

Senior Commercial Counsel Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate a broad spectrum of commercial agreements, including: Procurement contracts, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) agreements, Master service agreements (MSAs), Vendor and supplier contracts Provide strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders across procurement, operations, engineering, and project management teams. Support contract lifecycle management and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Advise on risk mitigation strategies and dispute resolution related to commercial relationships. Collaborate with external counsel as needed on specialized matters. Stay current on legal developments affecting procurement and construction in the energy and industrial sectors.
Senior Commercial Counsel Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Minimum of 7-14 years of legal experience, with a strong focus on commercial contracts. Demonstrated expertise in Procurement and EPC agreements is required. Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage complex contractual relationships. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a business-minded approach to legal problem-solving.
