Overview

Administrative team members assist with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing administrative support to residents and facility staff. This role involves various administrative duties across departments or within a specific area. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating office functions, committees, and special projects.

Responsibilities

  • Input revisions to Project Lists for ElderWood staff and facilities. Assist in generating items for Project Lists from Monthly Report Comments.
  • Prepare and distribute agendas for meetings as instructed.
  • Assist with preparing handouts for Administrator Meetings.
  • Make travel arrangements for ElderWood staff upon request.
  • Log, route, and maintain files for Monthly Reports from facilities.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred: business education or associate degree.
  • At least two (2) years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, preferably in healthcare. Proficiency in office support functions including word processing, filing, business document creation, reception, and data management.
  • Must demonstrate maturity, diplomacy, and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Ability to interact regularly and effectively with residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors. Must read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate or higher level to ensure a safe and effective work environment.
