Overview
KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Data Analyst in Miami, Florida. We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team on-site, supporting both of our South Florida locations. This is a hands-on role that combines technical skill with business acumen. You will work directly with raw datasets, write SQL and Python queries, and provide reporting and dashboards that guide decision-making across operations, finance, compliance, and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Data Stewardship and Governance: Develop and maintain data dictionaries, lineage documentation, and clear definitions across the organization.
- Safeguard data integrity, consistency, and audit readiness.
- Ensure all reporting is trusted and aligned to business rules and compliance needs.
- Data Collection and Integration: Acquire, validate, and consolidate data from multiple systems and sources.
- Establish repeatable processes for ingesting and standardizing new data streams.
- Guide the deployment of AI and agentic workflows: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure pipelines, security, and access controls are in place.
- Data Cleaning and Preparation: Process raw data to resolve missing values, duplicates, and inconsistencies.
- Build and maintain queries and scripts to transform datasets for reporting.
- Document workflows to make data preparation transparent and repeatable.
- Analysis and Insight Generation: Apply SQL, Python, and statistical techniques to large, complex datasets.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and performance drivers that support decision-making.
- Perform reconciliations between operational and financial data to surface mismatches and improve accuracy.
- Visualization and Reporting: Build dashboards, scorecards, and reports that make complex data easy to interpret.
- Deliver real-time operational insights and executive-level summaries.
- Ensure all visualizations are aligned with business priorities and accessible to stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, finance, compliance, and technology to define data requirements.
- Translate business problems into clear technical data solutions.
- Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences in a way that drives action.
- Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving: Proactively identify opportunities to improve data workflows and reduce manual effort.
- Recommend and implement scalable solutions that strengthen efficiency.
- Support forecasting and scenario planning to inform resource allocation and growth strategies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL with experience querying and manipulating large datasets.
- Strong skills in Python or R for analysis, automation, and data preparation.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, QuickSight, Superset or Looker.
- Familiarity with data pipeline tooling, such as Spark, Nifi, Airflow and Databricks
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets expertise for quick-turn reporting.
- Strong foundation in statistics, analytics, and critical thinking.
- Ability to clearly present findings to audiences of varying technical levels.
- Experience with data stewardship, governance, or compliance frameworks preferred.
- Background in healthcare, pharmacy, or another regulated industry is a plus.
