JES, A Groundworks Company, is seeking a talented Electrician to join their team in Ashland, VA. We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems for both residential clients. You will inspect electrical systems, troubleshoot and resolve issues, read and interpret blueprints to implement effective solutions, and communicate with customers. You will use a variety of tools and techniques to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems. We are looking for candidates with a strong understanding of electrical systems, tools, and components, who are committed to delivering excellent service while adhering to safety standards. While candidates with completed electrician apprenticeships are preferred, we are open to considering applicants with equivalent training and experience.

Responsibilities
- Travel to job sites to assess, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to plan and execute electrical work.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and components.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and electrical codes.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers.
- Answer customer questions about their electrical systems and provide recommendations as needed.
- Keep a clean and organized workspace while maintaining company tools and equipment.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of electrical experience or relevant electrical training.
- Ability to develop and manage additional electrical crews.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to time manage and work autonomously on projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
