Hire Heroes USA is hiring: Industrial Electrician in Glendale

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our state-of-the-art mattress manufacturing and distribution facility.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely use and maintain hand/power tools and shop equipment (e.g., grinders, drills, drill presses, saws,

belt sanders)

• Understand rigging and lifting devices (e.g., slings, chain-falls, come-alongs, block and tackle, jacks)
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints
• Pull fuses, lock-out motor starters, enter electrical panels, disconnect/reconnect motors, and troubleshoot

basic control systems

• Apply preventive maintenance practices
• Work with power transmission devices and rotating equipment (e.g., gears, gearboxes, bearings, seals)
• Install, maintain, adjust, and repair electrical aspects of production equipment, motors, drives, and

power distribution panels

• Install and maintain electrical systems/components in plant and office buildings
• Troubleshoot, locate, identify, and diagnose malfunctions
• Run conduit and pull wire

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' work experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
• Military experience in a technical field will be considered.
• Must have experience with:

o Control wiring

o Calibration

o Flow, level, and temperature monitoring

o PLCs

o Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical prints

o 3-phase power systems

o Variable speed drives

o Industrial controls

o Lifting up to 50 lbs

o Climbing ladders and working at heights up to 25 feet above the floor
