Addison Group is hiring an Call Center Representative on behalf of our client. This role is essential in supporting customers who are behind on their payments by providing guidance, resources, and solutions to help them get back on track.

Job Description

The Account Assistance Associate will handle both inbound and outbound calls, working directly with customers to discuss available payment assistance options. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to manage sensitive conversations while maintaining professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound calls and proactively reach out to customers regarding overdue accounts.
  • Review customer situations and explain payment assistance options clearly and effectively.
  • Guide customers through next steps to help them resolve their past-due payments.
  • Accurately record call details and maintain compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with teammates in a call center environment to provide consistent, timely support.
  • Deliver a high level of customer service with patience and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service or call center experience preferred; financial services background a plus.
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Ability to de-escalate stressful situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
