Overview

IT Support Specialist at Procore Technologies — in-office position based in Austin. You will provide world-class service to colleagues across all Procore locations and drive employee productivity by equipping and supporting the company’s technology and IT Operations. You will partner with IT systems and IT engineering to resolve issues, answer questions, provide laptop support, provision new computers, and assist with company-wide IT initiatives.

Successful candidates are eager to learn, share knowledge, self-manage, and execute on incident handling processes to keep IT services running optimally in a hyper-growth SaaS environment. This role reports to the Senior Manager of IT Support and requires immediate availability.

What you’ll do

  • Understand all aspects of end-user support and technical/functional capabilities.
  • Manage tasks and projects in a fast-paced operations environment, driving issues to resolution with a focus on customer satisfaction and efficient execution.
  • Manage your queue of tickets according to SLAs and procedures.
  • Perform day-to-day operations for large enterprise systems (e.g., Google Workspace, Windows, macOS, Slack), including operation, training, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and supporting these systems.
  • Support office events by providing and supporting AV technical solutions.
  • Share knowledge across the organization, participate in knowledge-sharing projects, conduct technology/application deep-dive sessions, and mentor junior staff and new hires.
  • Fully support compliance requirements such as MDM enrollments, hardware handling procedures, and ticket-based documentation of work.
  • Continuously improve IT services by contributing to focused improvements and education that shift quarterly.
  • Increase personal technical knowledge through development time and identify opportunities to add value to the business.

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT support role.
  • Experience managing incidents, requests, and problems within an ITIL/ITSM framework.
  • Experience supporting devices and peripherals on Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.
  • Hands-on experience with IT systems such as Active Directory, Okta, Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, and related technologies; understanding of LAN/WAN/Wireless/VPN networks.
  • Experience with MDM systems such as JAMF and MS Intune.
  • Strong customer service mindset and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-departmentally to identify trends and improvements in IT services.
  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and task management skills.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs and read a 24” monitor at 1920x1080 resolution.

Additional Information

Base Pay Range: $0 - $0. Eligible for equity compensation. Actual compensation will be based on job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
