Job Overview:
The Senior Project Manager will work with business and technology teams to build technical products from inception through ongoing maintenance. This role involves leading business and functional requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation, including workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, data mapping, data flows, assistance with user testing, and, where applicable, processes and procedures. The position is open to locations in Seattle, WA, New York, NY, Boston, MA, or Alpharetta, GA, with a hybrid work model requiring 3 days onsite per week. There are two positions available: one with a focus on Data Warehousing and the other on Client Reporting.
Responsibilities: Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with peers and business partners, demonstrating strong questioning and listening skills. Interview business counterparts to identify and articulate business needs, problems, or opportunities, and provide scaled implementation options. Gather and analyze requirements, organizing and documenting business needs to enable design and development, including workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, data mapping, and UI wireframes. Lead and influence cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Facilitate consensus towards the target operating model and data/business-related policies. Provide consultation to development teams and product owners for business-facing application enhancements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. A minimum of 7 years of experience, including at least 5 years in Business Analysis. Strong experience in querying, mapping, and documenting data. Demonstrated ability to articulate customized solutions to meet business requirements. Experience working with Agile/Lean/Kanban software development processes. Advanced skills using tools such as Excel and Lucid for documenting workflows and data mapping. Understanding of analysis and documentation goals throughout the project lifecycle. Ability to facilitate decision-making through workshops. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment under tight deadlines. Proven ability to manage personal timelines and meet tight deadlines independently. Experience managing and coordinating simultaneous project deliverables across groups and teams. Strong experience with SQL, Excel, Lucid, Jira, Tableau, and Agile methodologies.
