About the Role We are seeking a

Quality Engineer

to join a leading global automotive exterior systems manufacturer. This is a critical, hands-on role ensuring that our automotive trim products meet or exceed internal and customer quality standards, while driving continuous improvement across production operations.

What You’ll Do Develop and implement quality control systems to ensure compliance with customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and IATF 16949 standards. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (RCA/CAPA). Collaborate with production, engineering, and design teams to embed quality standards into the process. Conduct audits and inspections to verify compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements. Analyze quality data (SPC, capability studies) to identify trends and drive improvements. Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including control plans and inspection records. Train and mentor team members on quality procedures and best practices. Act as the primary customer liaison for quality issues, coordinating containment, RCA, and corrective actions (8D, OEM portals).

What We’re Looking For (Basic Qualifications) Experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment. Strong problem-solving skills and experience using root cause analysis tools (5-Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa, 8D).

What Will Set You Apart Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field. Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Statistical Process Control (SPC). Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 9004, and customer-specific quality standards.
