Full Time The role you’ll contribute: Help Us Shape the Future of Healthcare Technology Are you a
research-driven human-centered designer
who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments where technology meets mission-driven impact? We’re looking for a
Human-Centered Design Lead
to join
FORGE , AdventHealth’s IT innovation team, where we blend deep user empathy with real-world testing to shape digital solutions that truly matter. This is not a role where research is outsourced or downstream —
you
will be the researcher. You’ll lead the discovery work that determines whether our technology ideas solve the right problems in the right ways. Rather than building new blue-sky products, you’ll spend your time deeply understanding how existing or in-progress solutions perform in the real world — with patients, clinicians, and care teams.
The Product Strategy & Design Lead owns the user experience for the portfolio of supported work. The lead is responsible for collecting and synthesizing insights, presenting strategic recommendations, and visualizing solutions to ensure team and stakeholder alignment. The lead represents the voice of the customer and ensures all decisions consider human behavior data and insights. They effectively translate business needs into a tangible customer-focused solution. They guide solutioning strategies and processes that assist the product team, leadership, and business stakeholders with road mapping. The Product Strategy & Design Lead is able to work independently on projects, with limited supervisor instruction. The value you’ll bring to the team: User Research & Testing : You’ll own the end-to-end research process — from framing questions to leading
ethnographic studies , usability testing, field interviews, and synthesis. Insight Translation : You’ll turn complex, messy human stories into actionable insights, journey maps, and service blueprints that guide product teams. Prototyping & Experimentation : Rapidly prototype concepts and scenarios (tools flexible — clarity over polish) to explore what works. Facilitation & Workshops : Plan and run inclusive sessions that elevate diverse voices and uncover new perspectives. Storytelling for Impact : Communicate your findings with clarity, empathy, and strategic influence across teams and leadership.
