Responsibilities: • Answer questions about transactions for clients and company employees to help ensure a high level of customer satisfaction • Provide administrative support such as screening and making calls, booking appointments, etc. • Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork • Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation then report any discrepancies to the loan originator • Be the primary liaison between the mortgage loan officer and our clients and schedule meetings to discuss outstanding items As a Loan Partner, you’ll play a vital role in guiding clients through the journey of homeownership. You’ll be the first-class co-pilot for borrowers and agents, ensuring smooth communication, accurate documentation, and an unforgettable client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Client Communication & Support • Maintain communication with clients from application through closing. • Provide weekly check-ins, market updates, and follow-ups during home shopping. • Prepare updates for clients and agents. Under Contract • Make congratulatory calls—bring excitement, answer questions, and set expectations for the closing process. • Partner with LP2/Closing Specialist to ensure a smooth closing process, handling care calls, rate/structure questions, and any tasks needed to keep the loan moving forward. Post-Closing • Conduct check-in calls with new homeowners. • Request client reviews and maintain communication. • Build lender-for-life relationships through ongoing service and support. Process Flows • Assist with process improvements and the creation of new systems that make our team even more efficient. • Collaborate with teammates to refine and document workflows. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree in finance or banking preferred • Ability to effectively work in a strong team-oriented environment and provide outstanding communication and customer service to clients • Computer proficiency required including MS Office; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred • Having an NMLS license is not required, but is preferred What We’re Looking For • Hungry, humble, and smart team player. • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication. • Comfortable with technology and eager to learn new systems (we’ll train you!). • Passionate about helping others and creating an amazing client experience. • Mortgage experience is helpful but not required—we’ll teach you everything you need to know. Compensation: $20 - $30 hourly
