Location: Denver, Colorado, United States (Remote – Denver residents only)

About the Role:

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Cost Accountant to support financial accuracy, reporting, and strategic decision-making. This role focuses on analyzing costs, preparing budgets, and identifying opportunities for efficiency in a manufacturing environment. While this position is fully remote, candidates must reside in Denver, Colorado to be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, compile, and maintain cost information in databases.
• Develop systems and procedures to support cost accumulation and reporting.
• Analyze fixed and variable costs, including salaries, rent, raw materials, labor, and operations.
• Review and reconcile actual costs to identify and correct inaccuracies.
• Prepare departmental and company-wide budgeting reports.
• Review, analyze, and report on profit margins.
• Support month-end and year-end closings.
• Manage fixed assets and provide product sample costs as needed.
• Recommend cost-saving and efficiency measures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum of 3 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with NetSuite preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
