Job Summary
Working as an Executive Chef, you will lead a high-performing
Catering
team within the Google Food program. This role is a key driver of our culinary and hospitality goals, ensuring world-class service, culinary excellence, and flawless execution that reflects our elevated event standards.
You will be an operational leader, shaping our heightened culinary experience. You'll be responsible for the quality and innovation of our catering menus while also overseeing all daily operational and administrative tasks—from financial management to safety—to ensure culinary and operational excellence for every event.
Collaborating closely with the Senior Executive Chef and key stakeholders, you will leverage your expertise to uphold our high food standards, enhance the event experience, and champion the Food program's vision.

Key Responsibilities: Lead a high-impact catering program aligned with brand standards. Manage workplace and food safety, including allergen management and large-scale production schedules for events. Design, manage, and own the overall catering experience, not just the menu offerings. Exhibit a versatile skill set across a broad range of cooking methods. Have a passion for quality food preparation and taste, and an innate understanding of how to maintain quality from the kitchen to the event site. Ensure meticulous adherence to all menu specifications, production and prep guidelines Set an expectation of hospitality that is friendly, engaging, and professional at all event touch-points. Develop, mentor, and elevate a high-achieving team culture rooted in excellence. Drive financial performance and accountability, adhering to budgets and forecasts. Ensure that all products and ingredients used are purchased following sector and Food. Program purchasing standards and sustainability commitments. Treat everyone with professionalism, care and respect.
Preferred Qualifications: Degree from an accredited Culinary Institute preferred but not required. Deep knowledge of food and workplace safety protocols and compliance. Minimum 2 - 4 years Chef de Cuisine / Catering leadership experience. Proven experience in managing catering operations and logistics. Strong passion for great food and hospitality. Ability to manage budget, inventory and ordering. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Managing in a Union environment is a plus. Proficient in computer and technical skills, with a working knowledge of Google Suite tools. ServSafe Certification is a plus.
