Job Summary

The

EHS Manager

leads safety initiatives at the Client site. This role drives a behavior-based safety culture, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports continuous improvement. The manager assists in building a strong safety culture, standardizing safety practices, and serves as a strategic partner to leadership.

Safety Leadership



Develop and improve safety programs, policies, and procedures •

Standardize protocols across facilities •

Conduct risk assessments and audits

Team Management



Recruit, train, and lead staff related to Safety •

Set performance metrics and drive accountability •

Promote a collaborative, results-driven culture

Compliance & Incident Response



Ensure adherence to OSHA, FDA, USDA, EPA and other regulations •

Investigate incidents and develop Corrective Actions and implement preventive measures •

Report safety data to leadership

Training & Engagement



Support site-specific safety training •

Promote proactive hazard identification and safe behaviors •

Lead safety committees and improvement initiatives

Emergency Preparedness



Develop site-specific emergency plans •

Support and participate in site specific drills and crisis training

Qualifications



Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, or related field •

CSP, ASP or other credentials preferred. •

5-10 years experience in manufacturing preferred focus on FDA regulated production •

Strong analytical and investigative skills •

Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations •

Excellent communication and presentation skills •

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment •

Willing to travel 5-10% •

Strong collaboration skills
