This role involves transporting, removing, delivering, and collecting various liquid and solid hazardous wastes from customer sites. The driver will load and unload trucks and operate various vehicles including vacuum trucks, box trucks, and tanker trucks, depending on license specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee cargo handling and secure loads, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
• Work with government documents like manifests.
• Perform safety inspections and trip checks on equipment.
• Comply with legislation on safe operation, carriage of goods, driver hours, and hazardous materials.
• Operate trucks and equipment, ensuring proper loading/unloading and documentation.
• Maintain logs, bills of lading, and other required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring loads are secure.
• Deliver products and paperwork courteously and timely.
• Clean up debris from loading/unloading.
• Report issues and provide feedback to supervision.
• Train others as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Valid CDL A or B with a clean record; tanker endorsement required, hazmat preferred.
• Ability to drive manual transmissions.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor, able to handle stress.
• Work outdoors and indoors as needed.
• Lift up to 75 lbs; manual dexterity required.
• Overtime may be required.
