Brief Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Deputy Associate Commissioner for Logistical Support, monitors program procedures and processes for effectiveness through review and data analysis; reports results, and makes recommendations to solve issues related to performance, identify training needs, and improve processes. Compiles data to monitor compliance with federal and state requirements across all Long-term Care Regulatory (LTCR) programs. Ensures reports follow established protocols and are accurately documented. Participates as part of a team to review and evaluate all areas of LTCR; preparing analysis of data to be used for identification of areas for improvement and training needs, and for developing strategic plans and goals for program improvement. Monitors survey data, tracking the statewide completion of the survey backlog and ongoing inspections, workload volume, high-priority issues, and performs additional work assignments related to monitoring survey activity.

Essential Job Functions (EJFs):
Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.
Assists in monitoring Long-term Care Regulatory (LTCR) program procedures and processes for effectiveness through compilation and review of various data, reporting results to the Deputy Associate Commissioner and other relevant program staff. Analyzes and interprets data and reports to identify trends and problem areas in various LTCR program areas, and makes recommendations designed to resolve identified issues and solve problems. Evaluates performance, procedures and processes in assigned program areas and makes recommendations to maximize effectiveness and efficiency and improve performance.
Participates in development and maintenance of data reports for program assessment and participates in creation of work plans and accurate documentary support for continual program development. Prepares reports of varying types as requested for distribution to the Senior Leadership Team and other program management to be used in ongoing program assessment and improvement by all areas.
Assists in monitoring of compliance with federal performance standards and other federal and state requirements and makes recommendations for correction where necessary. Compiles related data and prepares reports as requested for distribution to division management and staff. Identifies and reports training needs based on findings.
Monitors statewide survey and investigation data. Assists in tracking completion of backlogged survey activities. Analyzes overall survey activity to identify trends or issues and makes recommendations to improve processes and develop plans to address problem areas. Upon completion of the backlog, will provide ongoing monitoring of statewide activity to ensure state and federal survey requirements are met and to support related continuing development. Develops survey data reports to share with survey area management.
Assists with collection and analysis of data related to ongoing and dynamic LTCR needs inclusive of all areas and coordinates with the Deputy Associate Commissioner, Logistical Support staff, and other representatives of LTCR as part of a team developing strategic plans, improvement initiatives, and goal development.
