Position Summary: As a Creative Graphic Designer, you will focus on enhancing our brand presence through the design of seasonal in-store sign packages, window signage, and special graphic projects. Your role will include:

  • Designing and executing promotional materials for campaigns, websites, emails, mobile applications, banners, and various digital and print media.
  • Creating visually appealing branded materials for Tillys retail stores, tillys.com, and Tillys catalogs.
  • Producing artwork requests for all in-store signage, seasonal campaigns, and catalog designs.
  • Designing marketing flyers for schools, magazines, and newspapers.
  • Developing event marketing promotions.
  • Supporting special projects as needed.
  • Conceptualizing marketing designs through layout sketches considering aesthetics and arrangements.
  • Creating polished designs using industry-standard software, along with mock-ups as required.
  • Preparing files for production.
  • Utilizing advanced graphic design software to produce advertisements, packaging, and instructional materials across diverse media.
  • Innovating fresh ideas and concepts to enhance brand visibility.
  • Staying current with technological advances in graphic design to leverage for company needs.

Qualifications: We're looking for candidates who:

  • Are detail-oriented with the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
  • Welcome constructive feedback and apply it effectively.
  • Are proficient in Mac, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, and InDesign.
  • Possess strong image retouching skills (a plus).
  • Exhibit exceptional creative design talent and strong technical abilities.

Education & Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 year of graphic design experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design is preferred.
  • A High School Diploma is required.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • Professional office setting with a low to moderate noise level.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Regular physical activity, including lifting/moving up to 20 lbs and navigating stairs.
  • Frequent walking between departments.

Compensation: The annual salary range is $65k to $72k, with the final offer based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

What to Expect: This is a full-time role with weekday office hours, with occasional evening or weekend hours during peak seasons. Work is located in Irvine, CA, requiring a minimum of 4 days per week in-office.
