Logistics Specialist
with immediate availability that will thrive in a challenging and rewarding process-oriented environment in support of the U.S. Marine Corps Prepositioning Programs at Blount Island Command (BICmd).
Location: This position is located in
Jacksonville, FL
, with potential for CONUS/OCONUS travel in support of Marine Corps Prepositioning Programs.
Responsibilities: Provide logistics information system support, data validation, and quality assurance to ensure accurate integration of MCPIC, ICODES, iPRIME Suite, and other Authoritative Data Sources (ADS). Conduct logistics data analysis in support of Marine Corps Prepositioning Programs (MPF, MCPP-N, MCPP-PHIL), ensuring equipment and supply planning aligns with HQMC Prepositioning Objectives (POs). Maintain continuity of inventory control systems, ensuring accuracy of TAMCN listings, SL-3 associations, COMSEC/CMS material plans, and MSE/Mission Set allocations. Support the development and reconciliation of squadron- and ship-level plans, including container and pallet estimates, load plans, and sustainment postings into MCPIC. Conduct audits, reconcile asset records, and provide reporting to BICmd leadership and Fleet Marine Forces. Provide customer support, both internal and external, on logistics, supply matters, and data integrity issues. Assist in developing and maintaining logistics documentation, tailoring conference minutes, plan change requests, and supporting sustainment documentation. Support Arrival & Assembly (A&A) operations, backload, and regeneration by ensuring inventory accountability, documentation accuracy, and logistics data readiness.
Required Qualifications: Experience in logistics systems, supply chain operations, or data management.
Security Clearance: US Citizenship required Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance at the minimum level of Secret
Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. BA: 2–5 years of experience HS Diploma: 6–9 years of experience.
Preferred Additional Skills: Familiarity with MCPIC, ICODES, GCSS-MC, and TFSMS. Prior USMC logistics or supply MOS experience (e.g., 3043, 3051, 0431) or equivalent DoD logistics background. Experience with inventory reconciliation, data quality assurance, and logistics reporting. Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple planning and analysis tasks. Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot logistics and systems issues. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a joint contractor-government team.
