Your ***** As a Journeyman Electrician, you’ll lead the installation of solar PV and battery systems for both residential and commercial projects.You’ll manage a crew of apprentices, oversee tools and fleet vehicles, and ensure every project is delivered with safety, precision, and exceptional customer service. This role is perfect for a licensed electrician that thrives on leadership and takes pride in high-quality work while growing your skills in a fast-evolving industry.
What You’ll ***** Install solar panels, switchgear, and battery systems in compliance with NEC and local codes Supervise and mentor a crew of apprentices, maintaining accountability for safety and quality Bend EMT conduit and perform both residential and commercial electrical tasks Conduct service maintenance and repairs as needed Maintain accurate job documentation and provide timely customer updates Manage parts, tools, and fleet vehicles while keeping job sites clean and organized Prioritize safety standards for yourself and your team
What You’ll ***** Active DOPL Journeyman Electrician license (or higher) Experience in residential and commercial electrical work with strong customer service skills – commercial experience highly preferred Proficiency in reading blueprints, specs, and electrical riser diagrams Knowledge of NEC standards and ability to execute installations accordingly Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail A drive for excellence, collaboration, communication, and optimistic outlook Ability safely use ladders, lifts, and hand/power tools, and lift up to 60 lbs. Willingness to work at varying heights, rooftops, and in inclement weather Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation - regular, predictable attendance
