Responsibilities

• JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES
• You must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards, as well as access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
• You should possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.

Advancement opportunities include moving from delivery driver to roles such as franchise owner or corporate operations management.

Qualifications

General job duties for all store team members include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients from delivery area to storage, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory and completing related paperwork, and cleaning equipment and facilities daily.

Training Orientation and on-the-job training are provided.

Communication Skills Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions/Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately (calculator may be used); ability to make correct monetary change; verbal and writing skills to take and process orders; motor coordination for precise movements; ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures range from 36 degrees in cooler to 90 degrees and above in some areas; sudden temperature changes.
• Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust.
• Cramped quarters including walk-in cooler; hot surfaces or tools up to 500 degrees or higher; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Sensing

• Talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks; depth perception; ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Temperaments

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Physical Requirements

• Standing and walking for performing tasks; varying surfaces and heights; workloads may require lifting up to 50 pounds; carrying, pushing, and climbing as described in job duties.
