We are seeking an experienced and certified Mammography Technologist for an evening shift position within a leading acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both 2D and 3D mammography, with experience operating Hologic equipment. Biopsy experience is a plus but not required. This role plays a critical part in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services as part of a women’s imaging team. Responsibilities:
Perform screening and diagnostic mammographic procedures using Hologic 2D and 3D digital mammography systems Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process Accurately position patients and select appropriate techniques for optimal image quality Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using Epic charting system Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver efficient patient care Prepare and maintain imaging equipment and report malfunctions as needed Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards Assist with stereotactic and/or ultrasound-guided breast biopsies if qualified Uphold patient confidentiality and maintain a professional demeanor at all times Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in mammography ARRT Certification in Mammography (ARRT M) BLS certification (AHA) Proficiency with Hologic imaging systems (2D/3D) Experience with Epic EMR preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Application Process: Please submit your resume to ashutosh.kumar@medcadre.com or call (949) 404-4671.
