Our platform has led to more than $30 billion in financing for sustainable solutions since 2018. GoodLeap supports GivePower, an award-winning nonprofit building life-saving water and clean electricity systems across Africa, Asia, and South America. At GoodLeap, we build technology that makes sustainable home upgrades attainable—and we need an experienced Staff UX Designer to help us realize the next generation of our product portfolio. You’ll develop a deep understanding of our users, inform product strategy, and deliver exceptional experiences across critical product surfaces. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

Define and own the design direction and vision for key product surfaces, setting the vision for the near, medium, and long term to ensure a cohesive and impactful user experience across all touchpoints. Work closely with product, design, and engineering leadership to shape and execute the vision for GoodLeap's product portfolio, delivering high-impact solutions. Deepen understanding of customers and end-users by leading research and analyzing data to inform decisions that improve the products we build. Foster growth within the design team, supporting individual development and encouraging a collaborative environment where creative thinking thrives. Champion design across the organization, advocating for user-centered thinking and ensuring design is at the forefront of product decisions from strategy to execution. Required Skills, Knowledge And Abilities

Extensive experience in UX design with a proven track record of delivering value to end-users and businesses in fast-paced, iterative environments. Fluency in design processes, methods, and tools, with the ability to adapt and apply the right approach for each project. Experience defining metrics and leveraging qualitative and quantitative insights to guide design decisions and drive product direction. Strong aesthetic sensibility with a keen eye for creating visually engaging and user-friendly designs. Bias toward experimentation, with the ability to communicate and test ideas through interactive mocks or rough functional prototypes; mentoring others in this approach is a plus.
