Director of Staff Development – San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living (SFCJL) Nestled in San Francisco's Excelsior neighborhood on a nine-acre campus, SFCJL is a center of excellence in providing a continuum of care. This includes the Frank Residences (luxurious assisted living and memory care), the Jewish Home and Rehabilitation Center (long-term skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, and an acute psychiatric unit for older adults 55+), and the Jewish Home and Senior Living Foundation. Grounded in the Jewish values of dignity, compassion, and community, SFCJL was founded in 1871 and continues to build on its legacy. The LVN staff development coordinator is responsible for evaluating and implementing the Home's education and quality improvement program in alignment with the Home's mission, strategic goals, and applicable federal / state laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. Responsibilities

Coordinate and deliver staff education, orientation, and compliance training programs to meet regulatory and organizational standards. Develop and maintain training documentation in accordance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements. Provide hands-on clinical instruction and annual competency assessments for nursing staff and CNAs. Support employee health initiatives and design training to meet resident needs and staff capabilities. Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to identify quality issues, implement action plans, and drive continuous improvement. Conduct required in-service and certification programs to ensure ongoing staff competency and compliance. Qualifications

Current California RN or LVN license Valid CPR certification Nurse Educator or Staff Development certification preferred or prepared to obtain within 6 months Up to date with California Continuing Education (CE) requirements Minimum five (5) years of nursing experience At least three (3) years in a long-term care setting One (1) year of instructor experience preferred Preferred knowledge in: quality improvement methods; adult learning principles and training techniques; patient safety and risk management; regulatory survey processes; infection control; employee health Other Skills / Abilities

Strong communication skills with residents, families, staff, and all levels of the organization Proficiency with computers and basic software applications Pay Range:

$43.00 - $49.00, DOE
