Position Overview We’re seeking a

Document Specialist / Land Rights Specialist

with strong attention to detail, a solid grasp of land-related agreements, and a proactive mindset to ensure document accuracy and compliance.

In this role, you’ll support critical land operations by managing, reviewing, and preparing various legal documents that support land acquisition, construction, and maintenance activities. ️ A Day in the Life Begin your day reviewing assigned documentation tasks, checking for accuracy and completeness in land rights files. Identify any deficiencies or inconsistencies that need curative action, and proactively communicate those to the appropriate teams. Use pre-approved templates to prepare agreements such as rights-of-way, leases, licenses, or temporary workspace agreements. Work independently while keeping organized and on-track with deadlines—even as project priorities shift. Reference and follow the Owner’s policies, procedures, and tools to ensure documentation is aligned with legal, regulatory, and internal standards.



What You’ll Do Perform

internal due diligence

on land rights documents to ensure compliance and identify any gaps requiring curative efforts. Prepare

land-related contracts and agreements

using pre-approved templates. Maintain excellent records and ensure consistency across project documentation. Adapt to changing priorities, multitask effectively, and meet deadlines under minimal supervision. Collaborate with team members and clients, as needed, to resolve issues and clarify requirements. Use internal systems and follow established processes to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.

What You Bring to the Table Understanding of land-related documents

, including: Fee simple deeds Rights-of-way (ROW) Leases Temporary workspace agreements (TWSAs) Licenses, permits, and ordinances Ability to

read and interpret legal land descriptions

in property records and title documents. ️ At least

1 year of experience

in the

Right of Way or Real Estate industry

as a

Document Specialist

or in a similar role. ️ Proficiency with standard documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Office) and project tracking systems. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a process-driven mindset.
