This position goes beyond traditional administrative support-it's centered on employee relations, compliance, and process improvement, offering a dynamic opportunity to influence culture and operations in meaningful ways.
What You'll Do:
Serve as a primary HR contact for our employees and management, offering guidance on policies, performance, and employee relations Manage daily HR operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes Assist with leave programs (FMLA, ADA, parental, etc.) with empathy and compliance Collaborate with payroll and benefits teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee inquiries and changes Maintain compliance with federal, state, local employment laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures Maintain and improve HR systems, records, and reporting for data accuracy and confidentiality Help develop and communicate clear, consistent HR policies and procedures
What We're Looking For:
Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred; equivalent experience or certifications accepted Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience Solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, strong judgement and problem-solving ability Effective communication, collaboration, and analytical skills Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Professional certification (e.g., SHRM) preferred or willingness to obtain Ability to meet background check requirements based on role and organizational standards
