Our thriving, growing, luxury residential builder client is seeking a Residential Construction Estimator for high-end new builds and remodeling projects. The ideal candidate has extensive experience analyzing blueprints and project details to prepare accurate project cost bids. You are a vested leader who takes ownership of this role, ensuring proposals are accurate and within budget parameters with a strong understanding of construction methods, and skilled use of software such as Microsoft Excel and CoConstruct. You are an excellent communicator with excellent analytical skills to collaborate with contractors, architects, engineers, and clients. As a critical role in the company's success, your accurate proposals directly impact the company’s ability to win new business and properly manage project finances.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read plans and determine trades required for bidding; invite subcontractors to bid on projects, distribute appropriate plan sheets and manage the incoming bids and review for accuracy against plans and building codes.
- Submit RFIs to architect, engineer, and/or clients as necessary.
- Create project proposal based on subcontractor bids and company labor and materials costs.
- Provide updates, review of subcontractors, and feedback to owner.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in construction estimating with a custom home builder or high-end remodeling firm.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles.
- Adept at reading, understanding, and explaining construction blueprints and drawings and knowledgeable in building codes for respective project cities/counties.
- Strong analytic skills and professionalism in manner, communication, and attire.
- Ability and willingness to travel to construction site(s).
- Ability to research and engage with new subcontractors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer software and/or willing to learn new software.
