Pay: $65 to $70/hour

Experience:

  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Experience in running Security projects.
  • Construction experience running low-voltage, structured cabling, security or electrical contracting projects.

Conde Group is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join a growing and dynamic team! The Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects including emerging security projects. A candidate will need some construction experience running low-voltage, structured cabling, security, or electrical contracting projects. They supervise, direct, and motivate the cross-functional project teams during planning, estimating, design, installation, start-up, commissioning, turnover, and warranty of assigned projects.

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with clients, sales, and operations during project development to create and approve the Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Conduct pre-bid reviews and provide estimating support.
  • Lead “Sales to Operations Turnover” meetings to ensure a seamless handoff.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans in advance of activity, monitor execution, and ensure compliance with established timelines and deliverables.
  • Manage requirements, design, development, and implementation of multiple systems and applications.
  • Oversee preparation of Business Requirements Documentation (BRD), system baseline documentation, and other key project artifacts.
  • Apply Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles, with strong working knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Prepare engineering re-estimate reports, manage project financials, forecasting, and cost control measures. Review and approve progress billings, track payments, and authorize vendor or subcontractor invoices.
  • Obtain and evaluate bids from vendors, subcontractors, consultants, or engineers to support proposed solutions and system installations.
  • Participate in project meetings and ensure timely completion of close-out documentation, including testing results, training materials, system drawings, operating instructions, and project records.

Position Requirements:

  • Proficiency with MS Project (advanced expertise preferred).
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • PMP certification a plus.
  • Solid understanding of engineering and software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).
  • ITIL certification preferred.
  • Experience applying SDLC processes in project solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of IT project management practices, industry standards, and business operations.
  • Excellent contracting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply job financial reports.
