Construction Project Manager - Multifamily & Mixeduse

Richmond, Virginia

We are supporting a national builder with a strong portfolio in multifamily and mixed-use construction to hire a Project Manager. This position leads ground up residential projects from preconstruction through closeout , with full responsibility for budget, schedule, quality, and team coordination. Select projects may require clearance eligibility for federal sites.

Areas of Expertise

• Multifamily: Type V wood-frame, podium, wrap, mid-rise
• Mixed-Use: Urban infill, residential-over-retail, select-service hotels
• Delivery Models: CMAR, Design-Build, phased turnover, early preconstruction involvement

Key Responsibilities

• Manage delivery from preconstruction to final turnover
• Lead cost control, schedule, subcontractor buyout, and cash flow tracking
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and inspections
• Act as the main point of contact for owners, consultants, and internal teams
• Support compliance, quality control, and successful project closeout

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
• 5+ years of GC experience managing multifamily or commercial projects $25M+
• Proficient in Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Excel
• Experience with permitting, inspections, and SWPPP
• Local travel and weekend flexibility required

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $130,000 – $145,000 + performance bonuses
