Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of single-family home construction projects, from site development to final closeout.
  • Create and maintain project schedules (Gantt charts), ensuring timely updates and reporting.
  • Manage and direct trade partners and field crews to achieve deliverables efficiently and safely.
  • Identify and resolve critical path roadblocks, ensuring project timelines remain on track.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Real Estate teams to address design challenges and implement solutions.
  • Schedule and lead quality control inspections, including city, subcontractor, and Fire Marshal reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, particularly during the Certificate of Occupancy phase.
  • Travel between job sites, manufacturing facilities, and vendor locations as needed.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in residential project management.
  • Proficiency in working with AHJs, utility entities, and stakeholders for Certificate of Occupancy processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of inspection schedules for single-family homes in Northern California.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and capability to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with modular or prefabricated construction systems.
  • Familiarity with sustainable building practices and technologies.
  • Proficiency with construction management software tools.
  • Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or LEED Accreditation.
  • Experience managing projects within a hybrid work environment.
