Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of single-family home construction projects, from site development to final closeout.
- Create and maintain project schedules (Gantt charts), ensuring timely updates and reporting.
- Manage and direct trade partners and field crews to achieve deliverables efficiently and safely.
- Identify and resolve critical path roadblocks, ensuring project timelines remain on track.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Real Estate teams to address design challenges and implement solutions.
- Schedule and lead quality control inspections, including city, subcontractor, and Fire Marshal reviews.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, particularly during the Certificate of Occupancy phase.
- Travel between job sites, manufacturing facilities, and vendor locations as needed.
Must-Have Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in residential project management.
- Proficiency in working with AHJs, utility entities, and stakeholders for Certificate of Occupancy processes.
- In-depth knowledge of inspection schedules for single-family homes in Northern California.
- Strong multitasking abilities and capability to perform under pressure.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with modular or prefabricated construction systems.
- Familiarity with sustainable building practices and technologies.
- Proficiency with construction management software tools.
- Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or LEED Accreditation.
- Experience managing projects within a hybrid work environment.
