Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm EST Meet deadlines for local pickups and deliveries. Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance in uniform. Keep vehicles clean and supplies organized. Follow special pickup and delivery instructions. Tender and recover shipments from the airports. Comply with cold chain management instructions. Maintain a daily vehicle log and work manifest. Obtain shipment damage reports when necessary. Remain in constant communication with the Dispatch department. Demonstrate the ability to load/unload cargo, secure loads, and obey traffic rules. Be willing to travel to any and all sites. Follow COVID-19 protocols for both World Courier and its clients. Be available for overtime, as some driving distances may exceed a typical 8-hour workday. Ability to lift, lower, and slide packages weighing up to 75 lbs Experience And Educational Requirements

General driving knowledge of airports and the tri-state area. Dangerous Goods training. TSA training. Cold chain training. Live animal handling experience. Professional demeanor. Temperature monitor training. Good communication skills. Understanding of all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Minimum Skills, Knowledge, And Ability Requirements

No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents in the past 3 years. No more than 2 moving violations and/or accidents in the past year. Drivers should have no "major convictions" within the last 5 years, including: Driving while intoxicated or "under the influence" (DWI or DUI). Leaving the scene of an accident. Careless or reckless driving violations. Homicide or assault through the use of a motor vehicle. Attempting to elude a police officer. Having a suspended or revoked license, or having 3 or more license suspensions in the past.
