In this role, you'll take on independent responsibility for underwriting, credit monitoring, and portfolio management of complex client relationships, while working in close partnership with Relationship Managers and the Credit Approval team. Responsibilities
Lead underwriting and portfolio management for new and existing loan transactions in the power and utilities sector. Partner with Relationship Managers as a trusted client contact, helping structure deals, manage amendments, and deliver exceptional service. Monitor covenant compliance, track portfolio performance, and ensure adherence to credit policy, procedures, and regulatory standards. Review loan and legal documentation, borrowing requests, and disbursements to ensure accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Risk, Legal, Loan Operations, and Credit. Support portfolio growth by driving loan and deposit activity, fee income, and referrals. Mentor and guide junior portfolio managers, fostering professional development and quality standards. Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or related discipline, or equivalent related experience. Required Experience
4+ years of Commercial, Corporate, Commercial Real Estate, Specialized Banking and/or Credit Approval experience. Required 4+ years of extensive experience handling complex credits. Required 3+ years working in Specialized Finance - Energy. Strongly Preferred 2+ years of sales experience. Preferred 2+ years of formal credit training. Preferred Licenses and Certifications
CFA - Chartered Financial Analyst. Preferred Other Requirements Must have access to reliable transportation and the ability to lawfully drive. Required Benefits
