This role supports the EMBA program events, experiential learning activities, and administrative operations within the Haas School of Business, reporting to the EMBA Executive Director and the Associate Director for Events and Experiential Learning. Off-site Event Planning & Execution: Organize the schedule for off-sites balancing venue details, travel time, faculty needs, guest speaker requests, etc. Coordinate with vendors such as hotels, transportation providers, and caterers. Compile content and create comprehensive digital guides for immersions, working with a graphic designer as needed. Administrative/Operational Support of EMBA Electives Academic Cycle: Run quality assurance checks; book classroom space for EMBA Immersions/Electives; apply office software; compile and array spreadsheets to ensure data consistency; assist with implementation of EMBA Immersions and other events; reconcile EPC/BluCard transactions and vendor BearBuy processing. Support other projects designated by the Associate Director of Experiential Student Experience and EMBA Program Office. Contribute to a team environment that fosters belonging and exemplifies Haas’ Defining Leadership Principles: Question the Status Quo; Confidence Without Attitude; Students Always; Beyond Yourself. Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of administrative procedures and processes including word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications. Strong verbal and written communication, active listening, critical thinking, and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills for managing relationships with faculty, students, vendors, and campus partners. Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a high-performance environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team; quick to learn and apply new knowledge to challenges. Appreciation of and experience in meeting diverse population needs; ability to establish and maintain positive professional relationships. Preferred Qualifications
Event planning and execution experience. Experience in website creation/maintenance and use of survey tools.
