Workers’ Compensation Claims Representative

Location: REMOTE Join a dedicated and collaborative team at Dollar General where your hands-on experience in workers’ compensation claims truly matters. We’re seeking a claims professional who has direct, end-to-end experience managing workers’ compensation cases. We are looking for someone who has direct and extensive hands-on claims handling experience with emphasis on workers’ compensation. This is not a General Liability or Insurance adjuster role.
You must have direct, full time experience in a Workers Comp role handling claims from beginning to end.

Direct experience in Workers Compensation Claims handling is a requirement. Strong experience with WC claim investigation and handling of injured employee claims, evaluating compensability, eligibility for benefits, reserving, and managing the claim from beginning to end Must have handled workers’ compensation as an adjuster - not just overseeing it. Extensive claim handling experience with emphasis on workers’ compensation Ability to interview injured employees, store personnel, and medical providers within 24 hours of incident Experience coordinating with attorneys, medical case managers, and investigators Strong decision-making and organizational skills Working knowledge of medical/legal terminology and Microsoft Office programs Customer service oriented and team-focused What the Team is looking for: Hands-On Claims Handling: You must have directly processed workers’ compensation claims from start to finish - including investigation, compensability determination, benefit management, and resolution Legal Collaboration: Experience working with attorneys and supporting litigation efforts Medical & Disability Management: Ability to evaluate medical requests, coordinate light/full duty return-to-work plans, and manage benefits in compliance with state laws Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with state reporting requirements and licensing Strategic Thinking: Capable of developing proactive action plans and managing claim exposure Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills; able to handle confrontational situations professionally.
