Position Summary

We are seeking a Production Graphic Designer to join our Fresno, CA team. This role is responsible for preparing and setting up production files, creating and adapting artwork for signage, banners, graphics, and films, and ensuring that all designs are accurate, production-ready, and delivered on time. The ideal candidate combines creative design skills with technical production expertise and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. Responsibilities

·

Prepare and set up production files, commercial artwork, and creative assets for large-format print, signage, banners, and window film. ·

Handle design projects from concept to final production, ensuring consistency with brand standards and technical specifications. ·

Create logos, branding elements, layouts, and visual mockups for client projects. ·

Develop and maintain an organized image library and archive of design files. ·

Collaborate with Sales, Project Managers, Estimators, and Production teams to clarify project needs and technical requirements. ·

Submit proofs for client approval, manage revisions, and finalize artwork for output to production (“Pro-Draw”). ·

Produce print-ready files with correct resolution, color profiles, bleed, crop marks, and file formatting. ·

Generate dielines, templates, cut files, and shop drawings to support production and installation. ·

Conduct quality checks on proofs and printed output, including color matching and file accuracy. ·

Assist in preparing artwork for CNC routers, plotters, vinyl cutters, and large-format printers. ·

Support finishing requirements such as trimming, hemming, mounting, grommeting, and laminating where needed.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

·

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication Design, or related field preferred. ·

1+ year of professional experience in graphic design, branding, or large-format print production (signs, banners, window films, wraps, or graphics preferred or similar). ·

Portfolio with examples of past work in signage, banners, trade-show graphics, architectural graphics, or window films.

Technical Skills

·

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); strong skills in vector and raster graphics. ·

Proficiency with project/job tracking or ERP systems (experience with Pace is a plus but not required). ·

Experience preparing files for large-format printing, vinyl cutting, CNC routing, and finishing processes. ·

Knowledge of substrates, vinyl, adhesives, laminates, backer materials, and film products. ·

Understanding of wrap and film applications (lamination, cast vs. calendared vinyl, frosted/glass films). ·

Ability to interpret shop drawings, architectural plans, templates, and signage specifications. ·

Skilled in color matching, proofing, and quality assurance for printed output.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with environmental/wayfinding graphics or architectural signage systems. ·

Familiarity with CAD/drafting tools or the ability to read elevations and sections. ·

Knowledge of vehicle wrap design or window/architectural film installation. ·

Experience with large-format finishing processes (trimming, hemming, mounting, grommets). ·

Understanding of corporate brand standards, typography, and design consistency. ·

Basic project management experience: tracking job orders, proofs, and production schedules.
