Please read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates. Primary Responsibilities

Lead the Content organization with the mindset of a Media Company GM — produce world-class content across platforms at a prolific and expanding rate to fuel a highly-engaged and consistently growing fanbase, while driving top-line revenue through intelligent corporate partnerships and media rights deals.

Set strategy and establish channel-right KPIs and benchmarks for all departments relating to content engagement, channel growth, brand goals, and revenue generation that streamline and align with department and individual goal setting.

Oversee all aspects of social media execution, web editorial direction, live streaming events, and content planning across owned-and-operated platforms and emerging content distribution platforms.

Set yearly budgeting and spending for all teams and lead the development of strategic outside partnerships to increase production capacities, capabilities, efficiencies, and alignment.

Work alongside Head of Creative to establish unified look, feel, and voice across properties that makes it clear when content is made by the Panthers rather than about the Panthers. Foster a unified culture across Content and Creative, with the Creative team providing resources to fuel output.

Collaborate with the Head of Creative as an internal Creative Agency — support special event coverage, sponsorable content ideation and production, and other creative services.

Lead processes for staffing Content production roles across major events, especially games. Create systems to ensure world-class game coverage while improving efficiency and maintaining staff work-life harmony.

Act as organizational contact for outside partners (NFL, product vendors, media companies) and promote the team’s brand and outputs in appropriate digital landscapes.

Serve as the Department’s main contact with Football for day-to-day communications, approvals, and alignment; maintain a culture of trust, aligned goals, and access to protected spaces for fans and the organization.

Work with Marketing and Creative departments to drive a unified Integrated output around key NFL and Club moments. Align content verticals to support campaigns and collaborate with Creative on Special Projects while maintaining day-to-day Content focus.

Serve as liaison with NFL platform and content departments and with video and broadcast leads; manage talent and personnel contracts for preseason TV broadcasts and full-season radio broadcasts.

Manage senior-level direct reports (Director, Social and Digital Strategy; Director, Digital Video; Executive Producer, Radio; Sr. Manager, Broadcasting) and lead a team of 27, with succession planning and backfill as needed.

Evaluate and foster individual growth of talent across departments to elevate performance and develop future leaders.
