Overview General Manager - Best Western San Diego Zoo/SeaWorld Inn & Suites at Remington Hospitality. The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of experience as a General Manager in a branded hotel environment, with Best Western brand experience highly preferred. This role requires a financially savvy leader who can read, interpret, and present financial data to ownership groups, corporate leadership, and stakeholders. Qualifications : at least 3 years of General Manager experience in a branded hotel; Best Western brand experience highly preferred; financially savvy with the ability to analyze revenue streams and expense categories, identify trends and variances, and make strategic decisions to improve margins; strong P&L understanding; ability to communicate financial performance clearly in meetings and reports. Experience leading multi-departmental teams and overseeing daily hotel operations is highly preferred. Responsibilities
Practice a culture of guest service; promote courtesy, goodwill, and a positive attitude in every encounter. Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, acknowledge all guests, and maintain positive guest relations at all times. Resolve guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction in each interaction. Coordinate special programs, functions, and incentives to improve guest service. Work cooperatively and cordially with fellow associates. Effectively lead the Executive Committee to reach the property goals. Develop and assure achievement of hotel revenues and profits, utilizing forecasting, P&L management, and RevPAR. Ensure the property is compliant across departments and grow the business year over year. Maintain product quality to support future bookings of room nights, banquet sales, and F&B to achieve pricing goals and maximize revenue. Coach and develop leaders to exceed performance expectations.
